Donation Arrival...

This is what we do with your donations to Peace Quest...

Once the goods arrive we start separating them into various bags...

Each bag is separated into various categories such as women's clothes, men's clothes, boy's clothes, girl's clothes, baby clothes, shoes & food. Some stuff doesn't make the cut because its either too big or not beneficial to the people in the village. Some of those items include complex books, expired food, electronics with different electricity input, XXXL clothing...

After sorting the donations out, we hire local tricycle drivers to deliver them to a rural village with our Peace Quest director. Hiring local tricycle workers helps to show that we are connecting with the community, we are supporting local workers and it allows the area to recognize our organization...

The village we helped is Barcelona, La Union, Philippines...

Once the donations arrive to the village, our Peace Quest director starts to distribute them to the families in need. This is a single mother with 3 kids she takes care of...

A lot of the grandparents actually take care of the kids, since most parents work in the cities or have fled their families...

Thanks you to all those who made a donation to Peace Quest, your support means a lot to us and all these families...especially the children!
