The event will be taking place at Basement, through The Manifesto, at 37 Bulwer Street, on Friday, June 1st at 6:00 PM and will be ending late. Film screenings will begin at 9:00 PM, music will be provided by DJ Combo and catering will be provided by The Big Norm Show!
Peace Quest will be showcasing an Art Playground at the Pinoy Fiesta 2012 on Saturday June 9th, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. All finished work will be sent to the Philippines!

IDA Canada will be having competitions in Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto to find Canada's best DJ to represent in Europe! IDA Canada has partnered up with Peace Quest, and we strongly support this company who organizes events to find our most talented DJs.
IDA (International DJ Association) is proud to announce the first ever IDA DJ Battle in Canada for 2012.
There will be many prizes and the National Champion will be flown to the world finals in Europe and they have the opportunity to bring home the World Champion title from the IDA World finals 2012.
The national tournament will feature live acts and creative musicians and DJs.
Djs will battle it out in the following categories:
1. Technical
It is an ordinary adaptation to the Advancement Class. Both, Juggling and Scratching must be presented by the DJ`s in their sets. All qualified DJ's present their three minutes sets. Only four will go to the semifinals.
They battle one another with two x two minutes sets. The winner goes to the strict final or batlle for a 3rd place (another two x two min set).
2. Showcase
Contains Teams, DJs using effect tools or DJs using Final Scratch, Drum machines, etc. The important thing in the Show Category is, that the competitors have to present a set, which is close to a song.
The main criterion in this Category is musicality and creativity. All DJ's / Teams present a six minute show. There is no battle mode in this category Pleases refer to the Registration section to sign up and to find out about our rules and regulations.
In line with IDA spirit, traditions and standards and through the support of Fans worldwide our goal is to make the Canadian IDA tournament the hottest event in the world. So get ready for a shot at the title in the 2012 national DJ championships.
